Christen Sveaas

Executive Chairman and Sole owner of Kistefos AS

Christen Sveaas has had several board positions including chairman of the Board at Treschow-Fritzøe AS, Viking Supply Ships AS, Board member of Stolt-Nielsen AS, Orkla ASA, SkipsKredittforeningen AS, Vestenfjeldske Bykreditt AS, Tschudi & Eitzen Shipping AS. Sveaas is today senior advisor to EQT, Stockholm Sweden and member of Deans Council, John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, Boston USA.

Christen Sveaas is presently Executive Chairman of Kistefos AS and A/S Kistefos Træsliberi, member of the board of The Kistefos Museum Foundation and Anders Sveaas' Allmennyttige Fond, a Norwegian charitable foundation.

Erik Wahlstrøm

Member of the board since 1989.

Erik Wahlstrøm has practiced law since 1976, served as member of several public law commissions, lectured in tax-law and published several publications. He is pervious chairman of the Norwegian Shareholder Association and the Norwegian Taxpayer Association.

Erik Wahlstrøm is chairman of the Kistefos-Museum and serves as member of board of AS Kistefos Træsliberi and Anders Sveaas' Allmennyttige Fond a Norwegian charitable foundation as well as Codfarmers AS, Gaia Wine & Spirits AS, Majorstuhuset AS and LIFO.

Erik Jebsen

Member of the board since 1989.

Erik Jebsen has an A.B. in Economics from Darmouth College, USA, 1973 and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, 1974.

Erik Jebsen has worked with ship finance in Inter Alia, Bergen Bank (now DnB NOR) and the Chase Manhatten Bank, London. He has been with Oceanlink Ltd. (Shipowning Company) for 18 years as Managing Director / Executive Chairman.

At present, Erik Jebsen is Board member with, among others, Eidsiva Rederi ASA, Four Seasons Venture II and III and Tusenfryd AS.

Christian H. Thommessen has on full time basis been a Director/Chair in Technology/Venture companies (private and listed), the Government Sector and in the Humanitarian Sector and has held a number of senior executive positions including President and CEO Glamox ASA, General Manager IBM Global Network Europe, Middle East and Africa, President and General Manager IBM Norway, General Manager Norsk Hydro Notodden Plants, Engagement Manager/Consultant McKinsey & Co.

As of June 2006 Christian H. Thommessen was appointed as Director and Divison Head of Division for Business Partnerships in UNDP (United Nations Development Program), UN Headquarters in New York.

Tom Ruud

Member of the board since 2010

Tom Ruud is a Norwegian citizen born in 1950 and was educated Civil Engineer 1974 from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU/NTH). He also has attended an executive program at Wharton.  Tom Ruud has over many years gained significant top management and board experience from different industries and parts of the world. Tom Ruud joined the Umoe group as CFO in 2008 coming from the Group Executive management of Nordea, the largest Nordic financial services group. Before that he is a former Group President and CEO of Kreditkassen ASA and Group President and CEO of Aker Norcem ASA, both major listed Norwegian companies. Tom Ruud is currently Chairman of the Board Umoe BioEnergy ASA, Csam Health AS and the Supervisory Board and Election committee of Norske Skog ASA. He is currently also a Board Member of Total E&P Norway AS, Intex Resources ASA, Euroclear SA/PLC in addition to Kistefos AS.
