Barge Business

Through its subsidiary Viking Barge AS, Viking Supply Ships AS owns 97.5% of Viking Barge KS.

The company owns and runs seven large, modern North Sea barges, each weighing about 10,000 tdw and all built in the period 1994 to 1999 at the Sevmash Yard in Severodvinsk, Russia. Taubåtkompaniet AS in Trondheim is responsible for commercial operations, and Viking Supply Ships AS is responsible for the technical management of the barges.
