We invest in people, ideas and companies with great potential

For over a quarter century we have worked to identify, invest in and enhance the value of great companies. This approach has delivered consistent performance, and numerous successful exits.

We focus on investing between NOK 10m and NOK 100m+ in any company, aiming at obtaining a significant ownership stake. We are not focused on certain sectors, company sizes, life-cycle stages or geographies. Kistefos’ investment strategy selectively seeks out a diverse range of proprietary transactions in companies of various sizes, including build-ups, growth capital, rescue financings and buyouts.

We are an active partner to the management teams and founders we invest in, providing considerable internal resources to ensure the long-term value creation through identification of the key value drivers. Furthermore, we operate under a very flexible investment mandate, giving us the opportunity to optimally support our portfolio companies throughout our ownership period.

Typically, we would aim for an exit of our investments after three to seven years.
